The problems that arise is that Microsoft and Netscape often add their own capabilities that can only be interpreted by their browsers. The capabilities are always changing for the better, so it is important that you keep your browser current. They are free. The following is to show you some of the features of Internet Explorer. The more you know, the better your browsing experience will be. Our aim is not to make you experts, but to make you sort of knowledgeable about what you are seeing. We'll explain a couple of things you will see, but not know what they mean. Beside the word "Address" is where the URL (Universal Resource Locator) goes and you will see http:// - this stands for Hyper Text Teleprocessing Protocol.
